I graduated from Briar Cliff University with a degree in elementary education along with endorsements in special education and reading. I earned a masters degree in Differentiated Instruction from Graceland University. My husband Nic and I have three children and are proud supports of MOC-FV.
Hospers Elementary Principal
I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Iowa State University in the area of Elementary Education and I earned my Master’s Degree from Drake in the area of Administration. Along with my husband Jeff, I have lived on a farm east of Alton, Iowa for the past 29 years. Our daughter lives in Wisconsin with her husband Jake and my son lives in Ames, Iowa. We enjoying playing golf and traveling with our family and friends. We spend many weekends in Ames cheering on the Cyclones or traveling to Wisconsin to be with family.

I graduated from Northwestern College with majors in Elementary Education and Religions, a minor in Spanish, a career concentration in Missions, and endorsements in Reading and Driver’s Education. I have been married to Jed for almost 40 years and we have two sons. Peter and Megan live in Orange City with their four children, and Ben and Lindsey live in Alton with five sons. My favorite hobbies are reading and swimming.
K-12 Technology Instructional Coach

I’ve been the K-12 tech instructional coach since 2014. I often refer to this as my “dream job” because it truly is! Prior to that I was a tech director for 16 years and enjoyed that as well. I like presenting at tech conferences and coordinating our local Tech Integrationist Group. I’ve served on several STEM committees and taught tech integration courses at the post secondary level.
When I’m not spending time as a “geek” I love to spoil grandkids, buy them the noisiest toys, feed them sugar and then send them (and their toys) back to their parents.
Fifth Grade Band Teacher
I graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA with a Instrumental and Vocal Music Education Degree. I previously taught K-8 and then 5-8 General Music, Band and Choir at the Hull Christian School in Hull, IA. I have been teaching part time 5th grade instrumental music at MOC Floyd Valley CSD since the fall of 1992. I am married and have 3 adult children.

I enjoy working with all of the MOC-FV students! I have a master’s degree in education from Augustana University in Sioux Falls. I began teaching in 1984. I have worked with students of all ages, from preschool through college.
4th Grade Reading Teacher
I graduated from Northwestern College with Elementary Education with a reading, special education, and coaching endorsement. I also have my Master’s Degree from Graceland University and I specialized in Differentiated Instruction. I am married and have two kids. I love to watch and play sports, read, and garden.
Middle School Choir & Hospers Elementary Strings
Amanda Lemke graduated from Northwestern College in 2017 with a Music Education Degree. She is married to Drew Lemke, who teaches band at the middle school. They live in Orange City with their dog, Margie. Along with singing and playing music, she enjoys sewing, and acting in local theatre events.
I graduated from Northwestern College with my Bachelors in Science and Nursing in 2013 and started as the school nurse for MOC-FV in 2016. I am married to Drew Nonnemacher (5th grade teacher at Hospers Elementary/ MOC-FV Varsity Baseball Coach) and we have 3 amazing boys, Jacoby, Elias and Beckett. We enjoy baseball, outside play, and movies as a family!
Hospers Elementary Librarian
I am married to Paul and we have one son and daughter-in-law. I received my elementary education degree from Northwestern College. I enjoy reading, spending time with family, watching Northwestern College sports and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
3rd Grade Instructor
This is my 25th year teaching! 11 years at MOC-FV. I live between Paullina and Granville and have 3 children. Two are out of school and my youngest is at South O’Brien. I love teaching and continue to stretch myself as a learner. Thank you for allowing me to educate your children each day. GO DUTCH!
Grew up in Glenwood, IA, movied to Sioux City to attend Briar Cliff-played basketball all four years, went on to Buena Vista University to earn my Masters in School Counseling. Currently live in Sioux City with my husband, Trevor, and my puppy Kona.
I received my bachelor’s degree from NWC in 2006 and my master’s degree from Graceland University in 2013. My husband and I have three children and live on an acreage outside of Orange City. We enjoy taking care of plants and animals and anything else that has to do with the outdoors!
K-8 Literacy Instructional Coach
Hello! When I’m at Hospers Elementary, I’m “Mrs. T.G.” When I”m at the Middle School, I’m “The OTHER Mrs. T.G.” I’m the wife of Scott, the mother of Natalie and Kyle, and the daughter-in-law of Willard and Janice. While I grew up a city girl in Sioux Falls, I thoroughly enjoy life on the farm. I graduated from Northwestern with my bachelor’s degree in 1993 and then completed my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Dordt in 2007. I taught 2nd grade for 12 years and 5th grade for 8 years before changing roles to become the K-8 Literacy Coach in 2015. I also dabble a bit at the high school, working with the English teachers there occasionally. I’m an officer and active member of the local Northwest Iowa Reading Council, and I enjoy leading summer workshops, graduate classes, and presenting sessions for both literacy and technology conferences. My husband and I are big fans of Dutch athletics and enjoy Red Raider basketball as well.

I received my master’s degree from Graceland University in differentiated instruction. I live in Alton with my husband, Josh, and our three sons, Jacoby, Nolan and Brooks.

I live on a farm near Alton with my husband. We have two grown daughters that we are very proud of. I love teaching students new things.
I am a nurse in both Hospers Elementary and the Middle School. I am married to Mark, who is currently away for the Air Force. We have three children; Landan(14), Ava(10) and Paxtan(4). I like to read and write. As a family we enjoy camping, off-roading in our jeep and playing cards or board games.
First Grade Teacher
I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Reading Endorsement from Northwestern College. My husband and I have two adult daughters, Breanna and Brooke. I enjoy traveling, reading, watching the Twins and Vikings play and going to movies.
