I love teaching 4th graders and coaching at MOC-Floyd Valley! Outside of school I enjoy hunting and fishing, boating, watching movies, and spending time watching my kids in their activities. I am married to Lindsay and we have 4 kids–Jenna, Carter, Blake and Jordyn. GO DUTCH!!

This is my 29th year of teaching in the MOC-Floyd Valley Community School District. I am married to Kent, who is the finance officer for the City of Orange City. We have two daughters, Autumn and Lydia. When I am not teaching, I enjoy attending my daughters’ activities, reading, playing the piano, and game night with my precious family!

I’ve taught art at Hospers Elementary for the past ten years. Watching students get excited about creating things is always fun. I live in Orange City with my husband and have three grown children. Gardening, art, reading and swimming are all things I love to do when I have free time.

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from Iowa State University in the area of Elementary Education and I earned my Master’s Degree from Drake in the area of Administration. Along with my husband Jeff, I live on a farm east of Alton. Our daughter Leah lives in Wisconsin with her husband Jake and our grandson Theodore. Our son Collin lives in Wisconsin, too. We enjoying playing golf and traveling with our family and friends. We spend many weekends in Ames cheering on the Cyclones or traveling to Wisconsin to be with family any chance we get throughout the year.

I have been married to Jed for almost 40 years and we have two sons. Peter and Megan live in Orange City with their four children, and Ben and Lindsey live in Alton with five sons. My favorite hobbies are reading and swimming.

I am married to Corey and we live on a farm near Hospers. We have one grown daughter, Danielle. In my spare time I like to read, spend time with family, do DIY projects, and garden. When the weather is nice, I spend as much time as possible outdoors. 

I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education, with an endorsement in early childhood. My master’s degree is in K-12 School Counseling. I received both degrees from the University of South Dakota. I have 15 years of teaching experience as a Resource Room teacher. I am excited that the fall of 2020 will be my first year being part of the MOC-FV team!

I graduated from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA with a Instrumental and Vocal Music Education Degree. I previously taught K-8 and then 5-8 General Music, Band and Choir at the Hull Christian School in Hull, IA. I have been teaching part time 5th grade instrumental music at MOC Floyd Valley CSD since the fall of 1992. I am married and have 3 adult children.

My name is Danielle Kleinhesselink, and I grew up in Hospers and attended Hospers Elementary. I earned my undergrad and graduate degrees from Morningside. I have taught 1st grade, but am now enjoying teaching Kindergarten at Hospers Elementary. My little family includes my husband Logan, and our daughters Zoey and Wren. Outside of school I enjoy reading, cooking/baking, tractor pulling, gardening, and being outside.

Amanda Lemke graduated from Northwestern College in 2017 with a Music Education Degree. She is married to Drew Lemke, who teaches band at the middle school. They live in Orange City with their dog, Margie. Along with singing and playing music, she enjoys sewing, and acting in local theatre events.

I graduated from Northwestern in 2012 with a B.A degree in Spanish and Psychology. I received my M.A in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2015 from USD. I worked with Creative Living Center for four years as a therapist. During that time I also became a Registered Play Therapist. I love working with kids and providing them a space where they feel safe and can express themselves. When not at work, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband, our kids, and our two dogs.

My love for kids, teaching, nursing, and school supplies gets all thrown together for the best job ever (in my opinion). I am a previous graduate of MOC-FV schools and attended NWC Nursing school to receive my RN, BSN. I’ve spent my nursing career in the ICU, public health, and our community hospital before becoming the school nurse for MOC-FV in 2015. My husband and best friend, Drew Nonnemacher, teaches 6th grade social studies at MOC-FV Middle School. Together we have four boys Jacoby, Elias, Beckett and Nikolas. We love the DUTCH and you will catch our family at multiple sports games including our FAVORITE, Dutchmen Baseball.

Two are grown, one of them is married and my final son is at South O’Brien. I love teaching and am passionate about stretching myself as a learner and teacher. I’ve been an educator for 27 years, and I’m currently the MTSS Literacy Instructional Coach for both elementary buildings. I’m married to Mr. Puttmann (4th grade), and we have two children. Kaylee (Netten) and her husband, Caleb, live in La Vista, Nebraska, and Kyle is a senior at Iowa State. I love spending time with my family, my dogs, and cheering on the Cyclones.

I love to spend time with my family, being outside and learning new things!
