I received a BA in Elementary Education from Northwestern College, K-8 Instructional Strategist I and K-12 Instructional Strategist II endorsements and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Morningside College. I am married and have three children. We enjoy spending time outdoors as a family and I love cheering on my favorite sports teams, including MOC-FV. Go Dutch!

Mangold, Dan

Mr. Dan Mangold is currently in his 8th year as Co-Director of Bands at MOC-Floyd Valley High School in Orange City, IA. His responsibilities include directing one of the two high school concert bands, directing Jazz 2, teaching lessons, and serving as co-director of the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northwestern College and his Master of Music Degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

Hola! My name is Beth Langton, and this year is my 21st year of teaching Spanish and 6th year here at MOC-FV. I graduated with my BA in Spanish from Northwestern College in 2002, and I completed my master’s degree in Education from NWC in 2022. I previously taught Spanish for 11 years at Valley Christian Schools in Cerritos, California, and four years at Sheldon High School. In my free time I enjoy traveling to Spanish speaking countries, reading, and spending time with my husband, Bandy, and our two sons, Ben (13) and Daniel (8).

I work at MOC-FV as the high school secretary and secretary to the principal. I love working with the staff and students every day. I am married to my husband Allen and we have two children and one daughter in law. We enjoy lots of outdoor activities and sports.
