My family includes a wonderful husband, three grown sons, and a daughter-in-law. I have a BA from NWC and a masters degree in special education. My family is very active and we love to travel. I am also an avid reader.
Vocal Music Director
Graduated with an Associate of Arts degree from Waldorf College in 1991 and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Wartburg College in 1994. I am married to Kent, who is the finance officer for the City of Orange City. We have two precious daughters, Autumn, a 5th grader and Lydia, a 3rd grader at Orange City Elementary. In my free time I enjoy playing the piano, reading and game night with my family!
Assistant Director for Transportation and Technology
Jack Bonnecroy graduated from Northwestern College in 2012 with a degree in Computer Information Systems. After having previously worked at MOC-Floyd Valley in the technology department, he’s returned in a combined position helping both with transportation and technology. Outside of work, you can find him helping with the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band, crewing for the local hot air balloon, or helping out on the family farm.
Special Education Paraeducator/High School Self-Contained Room
I graduated from Dordt College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Special Education and have worked with special needs individuals since 2005. I grew up in Sioux Center but now live in Orange City with my husband, Adam, our two kids, James & Emma, and our dog, Jasmine. I enjoy spending time outdoors gardening, camping, and hiking and being involved in my kids’ life, especially in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

I grew up in Melvin graduating from Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn in 2000. (Mr. Adams was my principal in 8th grade and last 2 years of high school.) I then went to NCC for 2 years and then transferred to UNI getting my bachelors degree in secondary math education. Some of my hobbies that I enjoy are being outside, riding horses, and playing racquetball and wallyball.

I graduated from South Dakota State University (GO JACKS!) with my BA in Agriculture Education in 2016. I have taught 5-12 Agriculture for 3 years and am very excited for my first year at MOC-FV!! I was very active in 4-H and FFA throughout the years and enjoy learning new things to bring back to the classroom.

I grew up on a dairy farm near New Sharon, IA. I attended Wartburg College in Waverly, IA and received my master’s degree from Morningside College. My husband, Doug, and I enjoy flying our hot air balloon when the weather allows. I thoroughly enjoy opportunities to travel, hike, read, bake, and spend time with family and friends.

I enjoy traveling, working on our acreage, spending time with kids and grandkids, and doing anything outside, preferably in summer.
K-12 Technology Instructional Coach

I’ve been the K-12 tech instructional coach since 2014. I often refer to this as my “dream job” because it truly is! Prior to that I was a tech director for 16 years and enjoyed that as well. I like presenting at tech conferences and coordinating our local Tech Integrationist Group. I’ve served on several STEM committees and taught tech integration courses at the post secondary level.
When I’m not spending time as a “geek” I love to spoil grandkids, buy them the noisiest toys, feed them sugar and then send them (and their toys) back to their parents.

I am originally from Remsen, Iowa. I graduated from Northwestern College with a major in History and a minor in Political Science. I love sports, traveling, and spending time with my family.
High School Band, Jazz Band, Middle School Lessons
I grew up in northwest Iowa, and graduated from Northwestern College in 2015, receiving my B.A. in Music Education. At the high school, I co-direct the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching band with Mr. Mangold, and teach our top jazz ensemble. I also teach middle school band lessons and direct the 7th and 8th grade jazz bands. My wife, a 4th grade teacher at Orange City Elementary, and I are both very proud to teach for MOC-Floyd Valley Schools!

I have been with MOC-FV for 8 years as the high school secretary and secretary to the principal. I love working with the staff and students every day. I am married to my husband Allen and we have two children. We enjoy lots of outdoor activities and sports.

I grew up in Orange City and currently live in Alton with my husband Jay and our 6 kids. I attended Unity Christian High school. I have been working for MOC-Floyd Valley for the last 3 years. My hobbies include camping with my family, riding motorcycle, spending time outdoors, and attending our children’s various sporting events.
Middle School Band
I spent the first 10 years of my life in Upstate New York, and ever since I have lived in Orange City, Iowa. I live with my wife Amanda (middle school choir) and our dog Margie. I graduated from Northwestern College in 2017 and have loved working at MOC- Floyd Valley ever since. Besides directing the middle school concert and marching bands, I enjoy assisting with our high school marching band every fall.

High School Band Director
Mr. Dan Mangold is currently in his 2nd year as Co-Director of Bands at MOC-Floyd Valley High School in Orange City, IA. His responsibilities include directing one of the two high school concert bands, directing Jazz 2, teaching lessons, and serving as co-director of the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Northwestern College and his Master of Music Degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

I have been in secondary education as a counselor or teacher for 23 years and in higher education at 2 colleges for 11 years. My masters degree is from Azusa Pacific University and additional graduate work from Wayne State College/Buena Vista University/USD/Morningside and my BA is from Central College in English/speech. My wife (Kris) teaches Spanish at Northwestern College, my daughter (Lauren) teaches 4th grade and coaches MS volleyball in Eddyville and has her own videography/photography business, and my daughter (Emily) teaches MS Language Arts and coaches FR volleyball in Sioux Center and is engaged to be married in December 2018. My hobbies and interests include: travels, our dog – Cali, athletics, theatre, music, Trinity Church, movies, relatives, and family time.

I received my BA in Business Education from Buena Vista College in 1992. I later earned my Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree from Morningside College 2010. My wife Angie and I have 3 children; Trey, Bailie and Delanie. As a family, we enjoy spending time together at Okoboji and traveling. GO DUTCH!!!
I graduated from Northwestern College with my Bachelors in Science and Nursing in 2013 and started as the school nurse for MOC-FV in 2016. I am married to Drew Nonnemacher (5th grade teacher at Hospers Elementary/ MOC-FV Varsity Baseball Coach) and we have 3 amazing boys, Jacoby, Elias and Beckett. We enjoy baseball, outside play, and movies as a family!
High School ELL and Spanish IV Instructor
I received my Bachelor Degree in Spanish from California Baptist University, my Secondary Teaching Degree from Northwestern College, and my Masters Degree in Education and ELL from Morningside College. I lived in both Costa Rica and Mexico, and have since spent time in several other countries. I enjoy traveling, social-networking, and lifelong learning!
High School Secretary/Athletic Secretary
I’ve worked at MOC-Floyd Valley High School for twenty-eight years. I am married to Dave and he is a fifth grade teacher at Rock Valley Elem. School. We have one son, Jordy, who is a grad student at the University of Nebraska/Lincoln. We love living in Orange City and supporting the Dutch!
I earned my teaching degree from Morningside College in 1995, and I have been teaching ever since. I’m currently in my 19th year of teaching at MOC-FV after spending time in the classrooms of Iowa Falls, West Sioux, and South O’Brien. I live in Sioux Center with my husband, Harv and my children, Sadie and Jacob. Sadie is currently a freshman at USD majoring in Spanish education, and Jacob is a sophomore at Unity majoring in Fortnite. 🙂 I am so blessed to be part of the Dutch family, and I look forward to working with your children in English I!

I grew up in Morrison, Illinois where most of my family still lives. I graduated from Dordt College in 2015 with a Secondary Education and Mathematics degree and I am pursuing my Masters of Education at Northwestern College with an anticipated date of finishing in 2019. Some of my hobbies include cycling, golfing, snowboarding, and coaching football.
Mr. Stauffer has been a part of the MOC-Floyd Valley family for the past 22 years. He is originally from Greene, Iowa, but now resides in Orange City with his lovely wife, Laura, and their children, William, Thomas, and Emily. Stauffer has received his BA and MA degrees from the University of Northern Iowa in the fields of Communication, Theatre Arts, and English education. Mr. Stauffer believes that speech and performance are two of the most worthwhile activities for developing self-confidence in young people. Other activities to which Stauffer volunteers his time include: announcing at or participating in various school-related functions, announcing at the Tulip Festival Mode Show, and crewing for a local hot air balloon “Up and Atom.”

I love to fish. . . fishing off of docks, shore, out of the boat and ice fishing. It is always fishing season at our house and I’m never short of someone to go along with me!!
