This is my 23rd year teaching 6th grade math. I also coach wrestling. I’ve been married for 19 wonderful years to my wife Angela who also teaches in the district. I have 3 busy children, Becca, Andrew, and Greta.

I attended MOC-FV High School, Northwestern College, and received my Master’s Degree from Southwest Minnesota State University.

When I’m not working or attending one of my kids’ events, I enjoy hunting, fishing, or using my smoker to make delicious BBQ for my family and friends.

Jack Bonnecroy graduated from Northwestern College in 2012 with a degree in Computer Information Systems. After having previously worked at MOC-Floyd Valley in the technology department, he’s returned as the Communications Director. Outside of work, you can find him helping with the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band, crewing for the local hot air balloon, or helping out on the family farm.

My husband, Doug, and I enjoy flying our hot air balloon when the weather allows. I thoroughly enjoy opportunities to travel, hike, read, bake, and spend time with family and friends.

I grew up in northwest Iowa, and graduated from Northwestern College in 2015, receiving my B.A. in Music Education. At the high school, I co-direct the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching band with Mr. Mangold, and teach our top jazz ensemble. I also teach middle school band lessons and direct the 7th and 8th grade jazz bands. My wife, a 4th grade teacher at Orange City Elementary, and I are both very proud to teach for MOC-Floyd Valley Schools!

I was born and raised in Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University. I moved to Hospers in 1986 to teach Home Economics at Floyd Valley Jr/Sr High School, and my husband, Brian, was ordained pastor of the Hospers PCA church. We have three adult children, David, Kristin and Jonathan. While they were younger, I substitute taught for ten years, and I am currently in my tenth year working as a para and directing the Study Center at the Middle School.

Following graduation from ISU (Go Cyclones!), I worked in family services and raised our children until I completed my Master’s degree at BVU to become a School Counselor. I spent six years as an elementary School Counselor and now thoroughly enjoy investing in the High School & Middle School youth of MOC-FV! My husband, Nick, and I are blessed with three kids: Max, Anna, & Jack. We enjoy spending time with friends and going on adventures as a family. I am blessed to serve our community at MOC-FV!

I spent the first 10 years of my life in Upstate New York, and ever since I have lived in Orange City, Iowa. I live with my wife Amanda (middle school choir) and our dog Margie. I graduated from Northwestern College in 2017 and have loved working at MOC- Floyd Valley ever since. Besides directing the middle school concert and marching bands, I enjoy assisting with our high school marching band every fall.

I feel very fortunate to work in the MOC-Floyd Valley School District! In addition to teaching 6th grade, I also coach Dutchmen junior high basketball and JV baseball at Northwestern College. I cheer for the Minnesota Twins and the Green Bay Packers! I am married to Nurse Karina, and we have 4 boys that keep us going! We have many things we enjoy as a family. We love traveling and visiting family in Duluth, we go camping during the summer, we enjoy the multiple parks of Orange City, and we will visit a pool any time we get the chance!

I am very glad to be working at MOC-Floyd Valley Middle School as a Special Education Paraeducator. This is my first year in this position. It is a rewarding experience to support students with special needs and to help them grow in the area of academics and life skills.

I have been married to my wife Karinne for 17 years. She works at Northwest Iowa Community College in the Trio Department. We have two children, Anna (13) and Andrew (12) who are both students here at the middle school. We live in Orange City with two dogs, two cats, and a bearded dragon. We like to spend leisure time reading, watching anime, going out to eat, and taking the dogs for walks.

I earned an Associate’s Degree at Northwest Iowa Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree at Northwestern College, and a teaching certification at Morningside College in the area of Special Education.

Hello! I’ve been teaching at MOC-Floyd Valley for my entire career! I’ve held positions teaching 7th grade English, 8th grade English, 8th grade American History, and Senior Basic Communications. I’ve served as an assistant HS Volleyball coach and as a HS and MS cheer coach, too. However, my current assignment is 8th grade English! I also serve as the 6-12 ELA Curriculum Specialist for our District. Additionally, I am the Trip Coordinator for the MS Washington DC / New York City trip! I’m married to Terry Oolman, who co-owns Vollink Enterprises and is a contractor. We have two sons enrolled in school at MOC-FV—Collin and Cameron. In my spare time I love to be with my family, go to the family cabin, travel, read, and cook. And, I also serve as an adjunct professor at two regional colleges. At Northwestern College, I teach in the undergraduate education department, and at Morningside University, I teach in the graduate education department. I LOVE all my roles!

I graduated with degrees in both history and social studies education and began teaching at MOC-FV in 2015. I currently serve as an assistant coach for volleyball and softball.

I like to read, write and be involved in the community. As a family we enjoy camping, off-roading in our jeep and playing cards or board games.

I am Abby Vande Kieft, or Mrs. VK. I attended SDSU to receive my bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Morningside College to receive a Biology 5-12 teaching certificate. I greatly enjoy teaching science to 7th graders as every day is a new and exciting adventure. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at sporting events, horse shows, or relaxing on the lake.
