I graduated from MOC-FV and then Northwestern College with B.A. degrees in Administration, Human Resources, and Office Management. I am married to Nick, and we have three children: Kaylee, Luke, and Ben.

This is my 14th year at MOC-FV. I teach 7th grade math along with coaching the Boy’s Varsity Golf Team. I am married to Andria, and we have one son named Brooks.

This is my 23rd year teaching 6th grade math. I also coach wrestling. I’ve been married for 19 wonderful years to my wife Angela who also teaches in the district. I have 3 busy children, Becca, Andrew, and Greta.

I attended MOC-FV High School, Northwestern College, and received my Master’s Degree from Southwest Minnesota State University.

When I’m not working or attending one of my kids’ events, I enjoy hunting, fishing, or using my smoker to make delicious BBQ for my family and friends.

Jack Bonnecroy graduated from Northwestern College in 2012 with a degree in Computer Information Systems. After having previously worked at MOC-Floyd Valley in the technology department, he’s returned as the Communications Director. Outside of work, you can find him helping with the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band, crewing for the local hot air balloon, or helping out on the family farm.

Mrs. De Zeeuw is glad to be a part of the MOC-Floyd Valley District. She enjoys the variety of opportunities her position provides — helping students grow as readers and researchers as well as encouraging them to pursue their interests and build on their strengths. Outside of school, Mrs. De Zeeuw enjoys being outdoors, crewing for her husband’s hot air balloon, and spending time with her family and friends.

I have been married for 16 years to my husband, Ben. We have 2 boys, Sawyer and Hudson, and a yellow lab Bristol. We like to watch our boys play sports, camp and we all enjoy BBQ and cooking!

Laura Haverdink earned a B.A. in music education and physical education with a coaching endorsement from Northwestern College. She and her husband, Greg, live in Orange City and have four children, Aaron, Caleb, Julia, and Jonathan and fourteen grandchildren that they love spending time with. Laura conducts the orchestra at the elementary, middle, and high school level. She has performed on violin and viola with the NW Iowa Symphony Orchestra, Cherokee Symphony, Celebration String Quartet (a group that she created to provide music at weddings and other special events), and her church praise team. She enjoys running 5K road races and making scotcheroo bars to share.

I grew up in northwest Iowa and graduated from Northwestern College in 2015 with a B.A. in Music Education. At MOC-Floyd Valley High School, I co-direct the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band, direct the 9th and 10th grade concert band, and direct Dutchmen Jazz I. I also teach our Dutchmen Jazz Lab, and spend time each week teaching middle school band lessons. Outside of school, I serve as an adjunct music professor at Northwestern College and teach private lessons at Dordt University. My wife, Rachel, and our four children are proud to be part of the MOC-Floyd Valley community, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve its students and families in music.

I graduated from Cherokee High School in 2019 and received my bachelor’s degree from Northwestern College in 2023. I taught for one year at Sioux Center Middle School, and now I’m here at MOC-FV! I will be teaching 7th grade reading and coaching 7th grade volleyball and basketball. My husband, Luke, and I live in Le Mars with our German shorthaired pointer named Rosco. In our free time we enjoy being with family and friends, hunting, attending sporting events, and traveling to new places.

I’ve been teaching for 25 years, 18 of them for MOC-FV. I LOVE middle school students because they have a fresh energy every day. We, as teachers at the middle school, get to help form their identities during quite impressionable years.

Following graduation from ISU (Go Cyclones!), I worked in family services and raised our children until I completed my Master’s degree at BVU to become a School Counselor. I spent six years as an elementary School Counselor and now thoroughly enjoy investing in the High School & Middle School youth of MOC-FV! My husband, Nick, and I are blessed with three kids: Max, Anna, & Jack. We enjoy spending time with friends and going on adventures as a family. I am blessed to serve our community at MOC-FV!

I have lived in Orange City for almost 30 yrs. Married to Michael with 2 children that attended MOC-FV K-12.

I spent the first 10 years of my life in Upstate New York, and ever since I have lived in Orange City, Iowa. I live with my wife Amanda (middle school choir) and our dog Margie. I graduated from Northwestern College in 2017 and have loved working at MOC- Floyd Valley ever since. Besides directing the middle school concert and marching bands, I enjoy assisting with our high school marching band every fall.

I graduated from Northwestern College with my degree in Actuarial Science, but decided to teach instead. Received my M.Ed from Morningside College. My wife Lynn and I have 4 children which keep us very busy, so I don’t get to golf or fish as much as I would like to, but some day I will have the time for it!

I feel very fortunate to work in the MOC-Floyd Valley School District! In addition to teaching 6th grade, I also coach Dutchmen junior high basketball and JV baseball at Northwestern College. I cheer for the Minnesota Twins and the Green Bay Packers! I am married to Nurse Karina, and we have 4 boys that keep us going! We have many things we enjoy as a family. We love traveling and visiting family in Duluth, we go camping during the summer, we enjoy the multiple parks of Orange City, and we will visit a pool any time we get the chance!

I am very glad to be working at MOC-Floyd Valley Middle School as a Special Education Paraeducator. This is my first year in this position. It is a rewarding experience to support students with special needs and to help them grow in the area of academics and life skills.

I have been married to my wife Karinne for 17 years. She works at Northwest Iowa Community College in the Trio Department. We have two children, Anna (13) and Andrew (12) who are both students here at the middle school. We live in Orange City with two dogs, two cats, and a bearded dragon. We like to spend leisure time reading, watching anime, going out to eat, and taking the dogs for walks.

I earned an Associate’s Degree at Northwest Iowa Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree at Northwestern College, and a teaching certification at Morningside College in the area of Special Education.

Hello! I’ve been teaching at MOC-Floyd Valley for my entire career! I’ve held positions teaching 7th grade English, 8th grade English, 8th grade American History, and Senior Basic Communications. I’ve served as an assistant HS Volleyball coach and as a HS and MS cheer coach, too. However, my current assignment is 8th grade English! I also serve as the 6-12 ELA Curriculum Specialist for our District. Additionally, I am the Trip Coordinator for the MS Washington DC / New York City trip! I’m married to Terry Oolman, who co-owns Vollink Enterprises and is a contractor. We have two sons enrolled in school at MOC-FV—Collin and Cameron. In my spare time I love to be with my family, go to the family cabin, travel, read, and cook. And, I also serve as an adjunct professor at two regional colleges. At Northwestern College, I teach in the undergraduate education department, and at Morningside University, I teach in the graduate education department. I LOVE all my roles!

I reign from Paullina, Iowa just next door to MOC-Floyd Valley. I have been teaching for over 30 years and love what I do! I am married to my high school sweetheart and farmer Patrick. We have 3 kids. Taylor is a Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiology from Lincoln, NE; Kyle owns his own hard floor cleaning business and dabbles in farming; Derek is a Junior at South O’Brien and very active in sports. We enjoy farm life with our Aussie Maya and Cat Mojo. Family fun includes side by side rides in the pasture, fishing, hunting, and usually farmwork! I love teaching students and seeing so many bright encounters of curiosity open up. Go DUTCH!

I grew up in Sheldon, Iowa and attended college at Bethel University in St. Paul, MN where I also played volleyball for three years. I graduated with degrees in both history and social studies education and began teaching at MOC-FV in 2015. I currently serve as an assistant coach for volleyball and softball.

I graduated from Northwestern College with a degree in Secondary Language Arts and went on to earn my Master’s Degree from Southwest State University. I am married to Todd TeGrotenhuis, and we have two sons, Justin and Eli. We love to attend all kinds of Dutch and Red Raider events in our community.

I graduated from Northwestern College with my teaching degree in 2006. I have been teaching ever since. My husband and I have three wonderful children. Education is a big part of our lives as my husband is also a teacher.

Most students know me as “Mrs. VR”. I earned my degree from Northwestern College in 1992 and began teaching 7th and 8th grade English that same year at West Lyon. I taught there for one year and then began teaching 7th grade English for MOC-FV in 1993. My husband Brad and I have two adult children–Mitch and Alayna.

I am a nurse in both the Middle School and High School locations. I am married to Mark, who serves as an Air Force Crew Chief. We have three children; Landan, Ava, and Paxtan. I like to read, write and be involved in the community. As a family we enjoy camping, off-roading in our jeep and playing cards or board games.

I am Abby Vande Kieft, or Mrs. VK. I attended SDSU to receive my bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Morningside College to receive a Biology 5-12 teaching certificate. I greatly enjoy teaching science to 7th graders as every day is a new and exciting adventure. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at sporting events, horse shows, or relaxing on the lake.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern in 2018. I am married to my wonderful husband Chase. We have one little guy named Huckson and one dog named Mater. In our free time we enjoy being with family and friends, camping, and doing anything outside.
