I currently live in Alton with my husband Brent, and three sons: Ryder, Wyatt, and Jarrett.

I attended MOC-FV High School, Northwestern College, and received my Master’s Degree from Southwest Minnesota State University.
When I’m not working or attending one of my kids’ events, I enjoy hunting, fishing, or using my smoker to make delicious BBQ for my family and friends.

Jack Bonnecroy graduated from Northwestern College in 2012 with a degree in Computer Information Systems. After having previously worked at MOC-Floyd Valley in the technology department, he’s returned as the Communications Director. Outside of work, you can find him helping with the Pride of the Dutchmen Marching Band, crewing for the local hot air balloon, or helping out on the family farm.

When I’m not making things or teaching students, I love being outdoors hiking, camping, cycling, backpacking, mountain biking, climbing, and basically anything else that gets me out into nature. I am also a leader for our local scout troop.

My husband Jim and I live in Hospers. We have 3 grown (married) kids, and have been blessed with 11 grandchildren. We enjoy going to all of the grand kids’ activities and traveling to visit our military family, wherever they are stationed.? We enjoy the outdoors and riding around town on our golf cart. (I know, we’re getting old.)

I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and earned my Master’s through Graceland University. My teaching career started in special education in Chariton, IA, then I moved to Indianola, IA where I taught Special Education and 6th gr. Language Arts, and for the past 5 years I taught in the Education Department at Northwestern College. I am very excited and honored to be a part of the MOC-FV family! Special education and teaching are passions of mine. We have three adult children, David, Kristin and Jonathan. While they were younger, I substitute taught for ten years, and I am currently in my tenth year working as a para and directing the Study Center at the Middle School.

Our 2 girls are college graduates and are out in the real world! Colin is a sophomore at NWC. I love relaxing and watching a good movie. Or when we’re feeling more adventurous, my family likes to travel. We love national parks, finding beautiful trails, and getting wet in waterfalls!

We love traveling and visiting family in Duluth, we go camping during the summer, we enjoy the multiple parks of Orange City, and we will visit a pool any time we get the chance!

I grew up as a student at MOC-FV and attended NWC for nursing school, gaining my Bachelors in Science and Nursing in 2013. I’ve spent time in the ICU, public health, and community hospital setting before becoming the school nurse in 2015. I absolutely LOVE school nursing and the opportunities it gives me to get to know the students and staff and play a part in the health and safety at MOC-FV. I am blessed with a wonderful husband (Mr. Nonnemacher-6th grade social studies teacher at the MOC-FV Middle School) and 4 amazing boys who all attend MOC-FV schools! We love attending sporting events as a family, including our favorite sport, Dutch baseball.

I am very glad to be working at MOC-Floyd Valley Middle School as a Special Education Paraeducator. This is my first year in this position. It is a rewarding experience to support students with special needs and to help them grow in the area of academics and life skills.
I have been married to my wife Karinne for 17 years. She works at Northwest Iowa Community College in the Trio Department. We have two children, Anna (13) and Andrew (12) who are both students here at the middle school. We live in Orange City with two dogs, two cats, and a bearded dragon. We like to spend leisure time reading, watching anime, going out to eat, and taking the dogs for walks.

Hello! I’ve been teaching at MOC-Floyd Valley for my entire career! I’ve held positions teaching 7th grade English, 8th grade English, 8th grade American History, and Senior Basic Communications. I’ve served as an assistant HS Volleyball coach and as a HS and MS cheer coach, too. However, my current assignment is 8th grade English! I also serve as the 6-12 ELA Curriculum Specialist for our District. Additionally, I am the Trip Coordinator for the MS Washington DC / New York City trip! I’m married to Terry Oolman, who co-owns Vollink Enterprises and is a contractor. We have two sons enrolled in school at MOC-FV—Collin and Cameron. In my spare time I love to be with my family, go to the family cabin, travel, read, and cook. And, I also serve as an adjunct professor at two regional colleges. At Northwestern College, I teach in the undergraduate education department, and at Morningside University, I teach in the graduate education department. I LOVE all my roles!

We have 3 kids. Taylor is a Physician Assistant specializing in Cardiology from Lincoln, NE; Kyle owns his own hard floor cleaning business and dabbles in farming; Derek is a Junior at South O’Brien and very active in sports. We enjoy farm life with our Aussie Maya and Cat Mojo. Family fun includes side by side rides in the pasture, fishing, hunting, and usually farmwork! I love teaching students and seeing so many bright encounters of curiosity open up. Go DUTCH!

Our children Walker (22) and Katelyn (21) are young adults finishing their college degrees at Northwestern College and the University of Iowa. He is originally from Greene, Iowa, but now resides in Orange City with his lovely wife, Laura, and their children, William, Thomas, and Emily. Stauffer has received his BA and MA degrees from the University of Northern Iowa in the fields of Communication, Theatre Arts, and English education. Mr. Stauffer believes that speech and performance are two of the most worthwhile activities for developing self-confidence in young people. Other activities to which Stauffer volunteers his time include: announcing at or participating in various school-related functions, announcing at the Tulip Festival Mode Show, and crewing for a local hot air balloon “Up and Atom.”
